Analysis
Pick the RTX 5060 if you want NVIDIA's driver maturity, DLSS frame generation and the lower price (£399.95 vs £499.99 for the B580 model we checked).
Pick the Arc B580 if you want more VRAM and memory bandwidth for the money and you're on a modern platform with Resizable BAR enabled (Intel recommends it for Arc).
Older PCs: the RTX 5060 uses an x8 PCIe link. On a PCIe 3.0 board that halves its available bandwidth; check your motherboard before buying.
Verdict
Pick the RTX 5060 for price. Pick the Arc B580 if VRAM headroom matters more to you than £100.
